Our Policies
Our POLICIES:
By participating in one of the classes provided by Be in the Sky, you are accepting the policy below and all of its terms and conditions.
Booking & Cancellation:
Online booking: booking of your space in any of our group classes needs to be done via our online booking system. If you have any difficulties with the online booking, please contact us.
First-time booking requires some additional information like emergency contact details, answering some health questions, and a signed consent. Be in the Sky shall not be held accountable for issues that may arise as a result of providing incorrect information. An incorrect email address will result in not receiving a confirmation email of your booking.
Booking of a Bespoke training, private lessons, studio hire, and/or BeHappy parties needs to be done by contacting us directly, to discuss availability and requirements.
Age limitation: all our group classes are for 16 years and older. If you are under the age of 18, we require a parental consent. Your parent needs to come to the studio with you, so they can sign the release form with a copy of their ID. This is for insurance liability purposes. Feel free to sign up for class, but make sure you are accompanied by your parent when coming in for your first class.
Waiting list: when a class/event is fully booked, you can join the waiting list by entering your name, email and phone number. If a space becomes available, the people on the list will be emailed in order, with a 2 hour delay between each, until the place is filled. Make sure you provide a valid phone number and email, and check your email/phone for updates. Once you are added to the class, you will be held to the same cancellation policy as any other class you sign up for.
Cancellation policy: if you cannot longer make it to a class, we kindly ask you to either cancel or reschedule your booking as spaces are limited. You can cancel your space to allow others to come, but no refunds are given. You can reschedule your booking prior 24 hours of your class. This gives us the opportunity to fill your space. Cancellations/rescheduling must be done using the online booking system. Click on the 'View booking' button in the confirmation email, and select 'Ticket transfer' to reschedule your class, or select 'Cancel' to cancel. If you do not transfer your ticket prior to the 24 hours of your booked class, you will lose the payment for the class. Be in the Sky has the only right to be flexible here.
Be in the Sky has the right to cancel a class. In the rare case this happens, all booked places for the cancelled class(es) will be transferred in agreement with the student. All affected persons will be notified on time by email/phone. Make sure you provide valid contact details.
Risk & Health:
Be on time: we suggest to arrive a few minutes before the start of your class. We allow for plenty of time before and between classes in order to arrive (and leave) the studio without too much crowding/overlap. You are welcome to enter the studio at all times, however if a previous class has not yet finished, we ask you to check before entering.
No outdoor shoes in the studio. You can place them in the designated shoe rack.
No excessive jewellery, like rings, big earrings and bracelets as it could damage the apparatus and are a potential cause of injuries.
Please wear proper attire when participating in class. Proper attire is athletic wear such as no-see-through fitted shorts or leggings, sports bras and/or tank tops (see FAQ for suggestions).
Warm up: everybody needs to do the warm up to prevent injuries. Make sure you have changed and are ready for the warm up. If you are too late and missed (part of) the warm up: you are participating the session on your own risk.
Injuries: You are advised not to attend any class if you are aware of any injury, illness or other conditions which may affect your participation. If doing so, attend the lesson at your own risk, and you must inform your instructor about your physical condition/injury.
Physical contact: physical contact may be necessary by the instructor; if you are unsure about this or any element of the class, you can speak to the instructor about this before or during the lesson, or contact us to discuss this issue beforehand.
Student participation: we encourage personal experiences in our classes. However we ask you to refrain from instructing other students any 'tricks' you may have learnt, either at our classes or at another school. As instructors we have the knowledge and experience to know when a student is ready for progression. To minimize the risk of injury please follow this policy and respect our wishes. If you see another student performing a skill/trick you haven't learnt yet, do not try it yourself and wait for an instructor to help you out.
No alcohol consumption during or before the class. If you are intoxicated when arriving to the studio, you will not be allowed to participate in class and will not be refunded your money.
Photographs, videos & social media:
Videos and photographs may be taken during the classes which could be used, among others for the purpose of external communications, including advertising and marketing as well as posted on social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram and the website. If you don't want to appear in these photos/videos, please advise the instructor before your class.
Social behaviour:
Please respect your instructors and fellow students and leave your phone conversations outside the studio while in class. This goes to text messaging as well.
We do not tolerate bullying or disrespecting of other students and their personal space. Such behaviour will result of removal from the studio and you will be banned from taking classes at Be in the Sky.
